Pacific Symphony Baby Shower

My awesome co-workers thew an amazing shower for Ben and I on April 30th.  It was a very special event and Ben and I felt truly showered!  Thank you to Eileen Jeanette and Libby Farley for creating such an amazing shower!!!!  Kudos to Ben for being the only guy there!

Bed Rest - ugh!

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted.  Actually, I may have a lot more time to post as I've been put on modified bed rest at only 32 weeks.  That means possibly 8 weeks at home!  I have been having a lot  of braxton hicks contractions.  Today I double-checked - just how many am I having per hour - and kept a journal. I'm definitely having a lot of them - between 5 and 6 an hour.  If I lay down on my left side, then I only have 1 or 2, but who wants to do that all day?  Apparently there are no other signs of pre term labor, and everything should be fine, but it's totally a drag to quit work this early.   

On a positive note, here are some fun pictures from our weekend getaway to Palm Springs.  We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel.  We didn't leave the hotel for 24 hours and it felt like an all-inclusive vacation in Mexico without the travel or price.  Ben and I just basically hung out at the pool and rested.  It was great!
